A black bit of business chapter 1
A man clad in a black business suit was standing outside the door to a particular house which looked exactly the same as every other house on the bloody street. Leonis black stood with his wife Regina Malfoy or black now. The two were squibs born to magical parents but unable to access magic. They stood outside the home of the Dursleys a muggle family who felt as fake as plastic to the two purebloods. Leonis' wife while also a squib never seemed to lose her pure blood pride. Leonis adored her he knew that but tonight she was being insufferable. "Why didn't you just send ben to do this." Leonis said"ina look I know you think these people are terrible but they invited us I don't want to offend them this could be an opportunity for the company." Using the same loving nickname he used since they were kids she smiled softly at him saying"fine dear but if they annoy me a bit to much I can't promise they won't wake up poisoned." Leonis grinned at his hot tempered wife she certainly kept life interesting. As the two walked towards the door and gently rapped on the door. The door swung open revealing a man who looked reminiscent of a whale with his wife and son who didn't look much better. The boy stood there with a forced smile and leonis had to wonder how much the kid was getting paid. The kid asked"would you like me to take you coats for you. Leonis replied"that would be lovely thank you." He handed the boy his coat along with his wife's and quickly sat at the dinner table. They chatted till his wife asked"what was that?" They quickly silenced and heard muffled crying and whispers. Leonis's wife got up and checked the cub board she found two boys inside and said"holy hell its the Harry and Jamie potter." Leonis instantly shot to his feet aware now of the situation. He said"why do the boys sleep in a cub board?" The husband Vernon said"because their freaks and their abnormality needs to be contained!" Leonis said coldly"so you wouldn't mind if we took them off your hands then would you." Vernon went to speak when Regina coldly interrupted slamming her hand on the table saying"it's funny you think were giving you a choice if you say no we can charge you with multiple accounts of child abuse and neglect." Leonis watched and noticed the sadistic smirk adorning the older kids features his wife continued"I mean bloody hell their clothes don't even fit properly!" The Dursleys begrudgingly let them take the potters. Leonis asked"so would you two like to come with us." Harry the younger of the two agreed quickly the older was a bit more apprehensive "stick with the devil you know right?" He said but ultimately agreed to go. Leonis realized they had no idea what they were. He knew that Dumbledore would be back as well. As the younger brother fell asleep int the back seat of the car on the way home the older sat unblinkingly staring out the window into the everlasting darkness of night. Leonis thought to himself this is going to be a long night...
