Amber

It was late at night, Willow walked awkwardly up the stairs and placed her sweaty hand onto the cold doorknob. Willow made a deep sigh, closed her eyes and saw her face...

Brainstorm

take me away from the norm

I got to tell you something

this phenomenon

I had to put it in a song

and it goes like

Tara...she was gone. Willow's tears slid down her soft, pale cheek and hit the carpet. Silence. Another deep sigh. She couldn't bear it. Although revenge had been taken, the pain still stabbed Willow in the heart. "Tara...I miss you...", Willow said softly, like a warm blanket covering yourself on a cold night. Willow missed it, the warmth, the warmth of being in Tara's lap. Just to her hold again.

Whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

you ought to know what brings me here

you glide through my head blind to fear

and I know why

whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

Her hand tightened around the doorknob, grabbing it with rage, the thought of Warren spun through Willow's mind. The face of him, spinning around in circles. His face suddenly transforms into a rat's head. And he just laughs, again and again. Willow's tears became heavier, trying to block out Warren, but the sound, the laughter still lingered in the air.

Whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

The door opened. Willow stood in the doorway. Room, pitch black. No warm welcome, just cold and damp. The feeling like something was lost hit Willow so hard, Willow fell back and cried. As she sat there, she needed Tara so badly. Just to be close, so close and be together.

You live too far away

your voice rings like a bell anyway

don't give up your independence

unless it feels so right

nothing good comes easily

sometimes you gotta fight

She got up, took a step into the room and eagerly tried to find the switch to the lamp. As the room filled with light, Willow saw the bed empty. All she wished was that Tara was out, out on vacation, to see her family, anything except be gone...forever. Willow felt heartbreak every step she walked towards the bed. She just collapsed onto the soft pillows, pretending she was in Tara's lap once again.

Whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

launched a thousand ships in my heart, so easy

still it's fine from afar, and you know that

whoa, brainstorm take me away from the norm

whoa, I got to tell you something
