(I do not own the Hunger Games franchise or any of the characters. Thank you.)
I woke up the morning that everything started. A nice plate of breakfast, hot and ready, was sitting beside my bed. That was one of the good things about living in the Capitol.
"It's a big day!" My mother said, startling me. I looked at her confused. Then I remembered, the victors from the 74th Hunger Games were having their wedding in President Snow's mansion, and my family were invited by Snow himself.
"Thanks for reminding me." I told mom. I quickly got a shower and was getting ready to get dressed when my little brother, Alex, came and gave me the biggest hug. I smiled at him as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"How is my little prince today?" I asked. Alex was only five, but he meant the world to me. I would do anything to protect him.
"Jus fine Em.'" He called me Em instead of Emma. Everyone else caught on, making it my new nickname.
"Em has to get dressed sweetie. Come on and we'll fix you up too." My mother said, giving me my privacy. I thanked her silently. I searched for the dress I was going to wear today. It was the nicest dress I could find. I didn't want to disappoint the lovely Katniss Everdeen. I looked up to Katniss, being sixteen years old myself. I had been dying to meet her ever since she won, and now I finally got the chance.
I put on my beautiful tailor made dress. I looked at myself in the mirror. My blonde hair a dark brown eyes went perfectly along with the golden like dress. I looked at the tag that I kept on the dress. It was made by someone very special to my family. It was made by a guy named Cinna.
I know it isn't the best, but it'll get better. I promise. Please read and review! Thank you!
