Sam stared at the sight before him in utter astonishment.
He blinked frantically hoping it was just another illusion. Or his mind had finally snapped and nothing he saw was real.
The sight never wavered.
A maniacal laugh met his ears even as he scrubbed at his eyes desperately. Sam flinched away from the sound, more scared of what he now faced then anything else he had seen. Maybe this was simply another torture the devil had devised.
But something with him told him differently.
What Sam saw was true. Not a lie.
That Lucifer actually stood in front of him, decked out in a vibrant red Santa suit.
"Well Sam, this should be fun!"
The walls of the cage began to pulse in time to Jingle Bells.
