This will be a series of one shots from Fred and George's first year at Hogwarts. The one shots are all related. They are not disjoined.
This is my first Harry Potter fan fiction but I have been in love with this series forever! I'm a total Potterhead but I will still probably get some facts from the series wrong especially with all of the made up Harry Potter facts you read on the internet. It drives me crazy when people screw up Harry Potter facts or tamper with them so I promise to try to be as accurate as possible but I will be adding just a few of my own things (maybe even one little character) so please don't get mad. Feel free to correct me if I get any facts wrong though.

Fred's POV
"Fred Weasley! Where are you?!" I can hear my mum calling me but I ignore her because Zonko's Joke Shop is so much more fun than shopping for schoolbooks and wands. Plus, George and I saved up all summer so that we could buy tons of stuff to use for pranks at Hogwarts. I had to de-gnome gardens for a whole month and those little buggers bite!
"I'm right here mom," George sidles up next to mom with a smile trying to buy me more time. We pretend to be each other a lot.
"Then where's George?" She asks turning around looking for her missing son. George uses her momentary distraction to slip to her other side.
"Hey mum!" He taps her on the shoulder pretending to have just walked up.
"Oh there you are!" Mum exclaims. "Wait, now where's Fred?" She notices that the twin that was standing on her right side is no longer there.
"Oh I'm sure he's around here somewhere." George gestures vaguely.
"Why can't you two ever stay in one place?" Mum sighs exasperated.
"What fun is that?" I ask her as I walk up.
"Fred! Where have you been?" She glares at me as I try to conceal the large Zonko's bag behind my back.
"Around," I answer but she doesn't buy it. She reaches for the bag in my hand.
"You two have better behave yourselves at Hogwarts. I don't want to receive any letters from Dumbledore telling me that you have been using this stuff on the other students," She warns as she looks through the bag.
"Of course mum," George and I smile at her sweetly but she just groans and starts walking towards Ollivander's.
"Come along. We have to get your wands."
I didn't really know how to start so I just started in Diagon Alley and I know it was super short but they will get longer. Please review and give suggestions if you have any but I am taking the one shots in chronological order.
