Yoyo Mojo

My yoyo just attacked me, I was really shocked.

It sprang at my head and my glasses it knocked.

For there it encircled to find my weak spot,

Entwining my arm in a dastardly plot.

It wriggled free but my yoyo forged on,

Next thwacking my belly in belief it had won.

I recovered my step just in time to jump wide,

To stop it from wrapping around side to side.

From here I am afraid, things turned for the worse,

As my yoyo backed up and swooped in reverse.

It looped in the air and dived straight for my knees,

And zipping around it tripped me with ease.

Flat on my face and in need of a rest,

I glared at my twizzling, pendulous pest.

I'll conquer you yet, I resolved to myself

But for now I'll just hide you away on my shelf!
