You are at your aunt's beach house. You and your family are here for your aunt's birthday. The dusk is already there and you, your two cousins and some of their friends are sitting around a campfire at the beach.
You're sitting next to a friend of your cousin. He's at your age and very handsome. He sweeps his dark brown hair out of his face, so you can see his beautiful brown eyes, his nose, his perfectly sharped lips which you would like to kiss. You don't know why but he has something. Something which no other guy that you ever met has. He let his eyes fly over your body and smiles a bit. „How do you like it here" he asks you trying to get on a conversation. „It's nice here. I wish we could go here more often." „I'm James by the way." He smiles at you and you shake his hand. When you're looking in his eyes, you see little sparkles there and you feel them that you fascinted by them. You tell him your name and you both talk about everything that comes into your minds. You really want to get to know James better. You hardly pay attention to the other people because you just see James and listen to him. You know that you've been falling in love, even if you just know him a few hours. Everyone around you also notice that you and James are in your own world.
When you get cold, James puts his arm around you and you can feel the warmth of his body. Even if you're still cold, you know that the goosebumps are not cause by the cold wind. But your heart gets warm. It beat faster when James look deep in your eyes and smiles.
Suddenly he leans forward and kiss you on the cheek. You blush when you feel the touch and look at him. „W-why did you kiss me?" You stutter a bit because you're still shocked that he kissed you. Even thogh it was just on the cheek. The touch confused you. In a positive way. It was unexpected for you.
„I don't know. It felt right. And I wanna have our first real kiss not in front of the others." he says while he's brushing some hair out of your face. You feel how you blush again. But now you can't stop smiling.
The later it gets, the more of your friends go home. You and James are still sitting together.
You,re cousin asks you if you go with them back to their house. Instead of you, James answered that you both stay at the fire.
„So you said you don't wanna kiss me in front of the others" you tease him. „Now we're alone." You're a bit surprised than normally you're not that flirty but you know that James also want it and he gives you confidence.
He laughs and look at you. „I thought you're shy. But the first impression was wrong I think." He teases you back. „You just make me feel like I know what I want" you laugh.
He asks you if you know what he wants. You shake your head when he looks deep in your eyes, you feel like he can read all you thoughts, he leans forward to your face and he whispers before his lips meets yours „You."
