Chapter 1
Beep. Beep. Beep. Jude sighed sleepily, and absentmindedly tried to turn off her alarm clock by slapping it with her hand. Ugg, Jude thought to her self, Who ever invented alarm clocks should be shot. She pulled the covers over her head just as her phone began to ring, and she reached for it on her night stand and knocked it over. "Oh, Shit' Jude mumbled, as she reached for the cell phone that fell beneath the bed. Jude fell off the bed in attempt to retrieve the phone. As she got closer to the phone, Beethoven's Ode to Joy, could be heard louder and louder. Jude quickly Snatched up the phone, and heard a familiar voice.
"Hey, Jude" Said Jamie
"umm hey," Jude Replied.
" Did I wake you?"
"Yeah, but its ok," Jude said groggily, as she looked up at her bed where Speed was snoring heavily. " I had to wake up early, for sound check for tonight's concert. If you hadn't called I would still be sleeping. So What's up."
" Nothing Much. I am Just counting the days , hours and minutes till you come home from tour. Its, Exactly 7 Days 3 hours and 3 minutes"
" I guess you really miss me huh. What's else are you doing today?" Jude asked.
" I'm going to -", Jamie began, before there was a loud sound coming from Jude's phone line cut him off. " What was that noise Jude?"
"umm, " Jude said thinking fast " That was just the dishwasher". Jude threw a pillow at Speed, and then closed her eyes. She hated to lie to Jamie.
" ha, that doesn't sound to good, who put the dishes in last night."
"umm, probably Wally, you know he's never been that good with domestic activities, such as cleaning", Jude replied laughing." So what were you going to say before you were cut off by the dishwasher."
"oh, Today I am Just going to help Kat with her Science fair project, you know how Science and Kat don't exactly get along."
"Yeah, oh wow, I got to get moving Jamie or I'm going to be late for sound check, bye", Jude said not waiting for a reply before she hung up the phone. She quickly grabbed the near by chair and raised herself up. She Shook Speeds Shoulder in attempt to wake him up.
"Speed, Its time to get up", she said. "Come on, we are going to be late for rehearsals."
Speed, slapped at Jude in a sleepy state and mumbled "give me 5 more minutes, mom."
Jude went to kitchen and retrieved a glass from the cabinet and filled it with cold tap water. She Made her way back to her bed room, and dumped the water on speed.
"AHHHH, Holy Bajesus," Speed yelled.
"thank god that finally woke you up, speed get up we are going to be late for Sound Check".
Speed looked at her and offered a sly sneaky smile, "Next time you want to wake me up, could we skip the cold water?"
Jude laughed, as she stared into speeds eyes. Speed grabbed a pillow and hit Jude with it.
"oh, its on big guy." Jude said as she grabbed another pillow and started hitting him with it. Speed hit Jude with such a force she fell off the bed and yelled " I'm ok." Speed laughed hysterically, and offered his hand to help her up. Jude takes his hand, and pulls him down with her. Speed falls on top of Jude with a sudden gasp of surprise. Jude and speed laugh nervously as they are now face to face with each other, their foreheads touch. For a moment Neither of them Say anything.
