The transporter ship hovered over the jungles on Dromund Kaas, before it landed in Kaas City. A tall man, with red skin jumped out before it touched the ground. He landed with ease, straightening up and brushing off his robes from the dust of the ship. He had black hair, tied in a braid, with a few pieces falling in his face. A sith pure-blood. Closely behind him was a woman, human. She had auburn hair that framed her heart shaped face. Her ice blue eyes seemed to pierce through the night, searching for something. She was uneased.

"Master, was jumping off early necessary?" She asked, annoyed.

"It wasn't however, I wanted to get off it as soon as possible." He sounded panicked. The young woman chuckled as she brushed pass him, shouting over her shoulder "It's hilarious how someone of your stature gets claustrophobic."

"Can you believe it's been over ten years, Master, since I walked down these paths, past these buildings that I once called home?"

"Well Kalel, that's how extensive training happens for those who are lucky enough to receive it. They are made to leave home until it is complete."

He talked with care in his voice. He couldn't help but feel a connection with her, even though they haven't know each other very long. When he just got eligible to have an apprentice, he requested her specifically. He knew she was the star pupil of her class but that wasn't the reason. Jakkaru actually pitted her most of all. Growing up in a prestigious family of politicians for the Empire, she had a reputation to uphold and protect. Such pressure for someone barley 18 is not right in Jakkaru's eyes.

"Master, I must go find my family as they are expecting my return. If you would please excuse me." She bowed her head and turned swiftly, her robes flowing behind her. The night was warm, the stars were shining bright. As Kalel walked down the windy roads she used to run down as a little girl. She couldn't help but miss those simple times, before she knew she was force sensitive. From then and getting shipped off to Koribaan was a blur to her. She tried to forget the first two years there, all she wanted was to go home and play with her younger sister. Kalel stops and leans against a wall, before sliding to the floor. She couldn't help but dread seeing the people responsible for her suffering, feeling abandoned and uncared for. Sure, she understood their reasonings behind it now she's older, but she still resents them for not giving an explanation to the little girl crying other than "You are weak, you need to be trained." and watching her fathers face disappear as he turned away without looking back. Those words haunt her, echoed every time she fought, pushing her to fight harder.

She found her way to the black iron walls that circled her old home. As she opened the latch, she took a deep breath, detaching herself from any emotion she felt previously. The only thing she felt was hatred.
