"Tonight is going to be the most fun night of my life!" Logan thought to himself as he pulled up in front of James' house. Every year James had an 'End of the School Year Party' Party, as he liked to call it. It was never super big just James, Logan and...and Kendall. Logan secretly smiled to himself when he thought of the name. Logan had a secret crush that he had tried so desperately to work up the nerve to say and tonight he was going to say it. He absolutely loved Kendall Schmidt.

Clearing the love written face he was currently wearing, he walked up and rang James' doorbell. Within seconds the tall, dark and handsome young man swung the door open, brushing him inside of his house. Sitting on the opposite side of the room was Kendall. Logan could feel his face becoming more and redder as he looked at the boy.

"Hey buddy! How's it goin'?" Kendall shouted towards Logan. Logan smiled and was silent for a few moments and then responded.

"Oh! Good! Are you ready to get your butt whooped at Speed Racer 3!" Logan said while throwing his bag down near the couch. Kendall made a face of disapproval and tried to say something, but decided against it, knowing that Logan had always been better than him.

"Well let's get to it!" James said starting up the x-box and getting 3 controllers out.

They played for 2 hours screaming and hollering when one beat the other two, but overall Logan won. They decided to go outside and play some football. They came in with mud covering their whole body and not seeming to notice. Next, they watched scary movies and betted on who would be the first to leave the room. That would be Logan as well. As the night came to a close Logan knew he had to say what he needed to. His heart was racing; he contemplated on even saying it. Finally, when they were all sitting in James' room he was about to say it, but then James got up.

"Hey I'm going to go get ready for bed." James said

"Well, I guess we'll see you in the morning then," Kendall teased. In return James stuck up his middle finger to Kendall as he walked out of the room. Kendall immediately filled the silence.

"Is there something on your mind, Logie? You've had your 'Thinkin' Face' on all night." Kendall said

"Well… sorta, not really…"

"C'mon Logan, I can tell something's on your mind….hello? Spit it out. It's ok. I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything."

"Umm, ehh, well, I guess it's worth a shot… I, uh, kinda, lo—like you…" Logan said looking at anything but Kendall.

"What..like, you like me as in like me?"

"Yeah… oh god. I'm sorry. I should, uh, go."

"Yeah, you should." Kendall said.

Logan's heart cracked. He wanted Kendall to say the same thing, but he didn't. It was over. He told James that he felt bad and called his mom to come get him. Truth be told, he didn't call his mom. His parents had gone out for the night and were staying at some casino. He walked home because his house was only a block away.

Logan walked up to his porch with tears in his eyes. He unlocked the door, and went inside.

"HELLOOO?" He shouted making sure no one was home. When no one answered he started bawling. He wanted to just die and be alone forever. He crawled into his bed feeling defeated. This night was not going to be spent having fun with friends. Instead, he cried himself to sleep.
