Tainted
Vidia loved flying, it was her passion, her one true love, she was the fastest fairy in all of Pixie Hollow and no one could out fly her, she snickered at that thought. Right now, Vidia was flying around Pixie Hollow enjoying the night air, she often did this as there was no one around to bother her, she could just enjoy herself without anyone bugging her to do this or that, she smiled softly as she flew full circle around the pixie dust tree, this felt good.
As the night grew on, a un-natural darkness began to form on the edge of Pixie Hollow, It almost seemed as if it had eyes watching Vidia's every move as she flew, it grew larger and larger, a tendril shot out after the fast flying fairy. She didn't even notice as it got closer and closer, finally the darkness caught Vidia, she froze in mid-air unable to move or even scream for help, it surrounded her. Her mind went blank.
Vidia shot up in bed gasping for air, she clutched her chest while her eyes darted about fearfully "Oh thank pixie dust, it was just a dream" Vidia took deep breaths and calmed herself down. She slipped out of bed, got ready and flew from her home in the sour plum-tree, today she had to go to a friendly get together Tinkerbell had planned, she actually enjoyed things like this even if no one else believed she did, she had friends who liked her for who she was, she gave a smile at this, enjoying her flight even more.
"Vidia!" Tinkerbell shouted from below her in the clearing
"Hey, where's the others?" Vidia flew down landing beside Tinkerbell She's alone, good a voice hissed within her head What in pixie hollow was that!? Vidia slightly panicked, not letting it show of course
"They'll be here soon, we have about 15 minutes to ourselves" Tinkerbell smiled at Vidia, glad to be spending some time with her
"Oh, I guess that's okay" Vidia awkwardly smiled and stood in front of her My time to shine the voice hissed again What is this!? I can't control myself, get out! Vidia shouted out in her mind, enraged at this strange feeling "Actually why don't you come see this lost thing I found on the beach yesterday, It's back home" Vidia grinned at the Tinker fairy
"Uh...Vidia, what's wrong with your wings?" Tinkerbell asked slowly backing away as she saw black mist surrounding Vidia's wings
I will not let you have her! Give me my body back! Vidia yelled inside her head NO! GET BACK! Voice shrieked but Vidia pushed harder and took back control Ha, no one can beat me Vidia smirked Mark my words, I will have all of your friends and then all of Pixie Hollow! Voice yelled before retreating to the back of Vidia's mind What is this? who is this? Vidia thought before she turned her attention back to the scared fairy in front of her "What? There's nothing wrong with my wings" Vidia stood confused
"I'm sure there was black mist surrounding them" Tinkerbell looked at Vidia in confusion "Never mind, I think the girls are almost here, I hear Fawn"
