Disclaimer: I don't own much except the plot, summary, and change of Malacoda's gender.

Summary: Upon losing to Emilia the hero, Malacoda hid herself away into another world so that she would one day return to her lord. Unbeknownst to her that he had retreated to the same world. When she is finally reunited with her king she is in for a shock to find out that he is no longer the cold and merciless demon she'd fallen for.

Fem!Malacoda. Onesided Fem! Malacoda x Maou Sadao.

AN: I enjoyed the series but couldn't help but feel like I wanted to know more about that Malacoda general. Yes I am fully aware it is supposed to be male. That's why I put the "fem" there. I apologize if it is not up to par with your standards. Any helpful tips to improve my story would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There she stood, atop a cliff, facing the hero of Ente Isla who was ready to end Malacoda's life with her legendary sword called Better Half.

"So...you're the one who defeated Adramelech," Malacoda whispered. She strained to speak due to the amount of injuries she'd sustained.

Her once impenetrable skull armor was cut through so easily by that legendary sword. Not to mention her powerful staff, Malebranche, as well.

"I will offer you what I offered Adramelech. Surrender and you will not die by my blade," she claimed.

Surrender?

How would she be able to look at her Lord again if she surrendered?

Of course, this offer did not sit well with the remaining human army that was hiding in the woods. They truly wanted Malacoda dead for she had decimated many of their comrades with her own power alone. She would've been able to destroy them too if Emilia hadn't shown up to defeat her.

"Kill her!" One of the men shouted. Another joined in and then soon all of them were shouting for Emilia to just get rid of her.

Typical humans, terrified for their own lives that they would justify to put an end to Malacoda's life.

Slowly, Malacoda clutched her side to ease the pain from an injury before speaking behind her skull helm.

"My lord will make you pay for this," she replied through gritted teeth. "Enjoy your little victory while you can."

With the magic she had left, Malacoda allowed bright red flames to engulf her body as they spiraled into blue flames and then manifested into blue lightning. They sprouted all over her body, sinking deep into the exposed areas of her flesh, and expanding outward to vanish everything in its path.

"Emilia! Get away from her!"

Fools.

The large amount of power she released was more than enough to wipe out everything within her magic's radius. Once the cliff gave under her, she felt herself descending deep into the unknown abyss below.

"Come on..."

She whispered to herself as she reached her hands out in front of her to create a large dark pink portal to pass through. Her last attack sapped much of her magical force but clearly there was enough to make herself a portal.

Malacoda had never been so angry.

Angry that she was outmatched by a mere human.

Angry at herself for failing her king.

Angry that she might not be there to see him conquer Ente Isla.

But most of all she was angry that she might never see her precious king again.
