Tifa looked at the things she had in her hand. One bottle of water should suffice for lunch today, along with a six inch sub. Now if only the person in front of her would hurry up.
"Ten dollars and two cents," said the Subway cashier.
The man with spiky blond hair in front of Tifa pulled out a ten dollar bill from his pocket. A second or two later, he fished out a penny from his other pocket. He put his food down and started searching for another penny, digging through his pockets over and over again.
Tifa looked back and forth at him and the clock before reaching into her own pocket to pull out a penny.
"Here."
"Found it."
Tifa and the man spoke at the same time, each holding out a penny to the clerk, who looked at both of them oddly.
Tifa looked at the guy and he looked at her. She let out a laugh and he shook his head, smiling at the pennies.
"Thank you," he said.
"Don't worry about it," Tifa replied, pulling her penny back.
