Vlad woke up with a splitting headache. He tried to stand up and then found he couldn't. He tried to turn round and found he couldn't .
"Hello anybody there?!" He yelled.
"Not so loud!" a voice behind him hissed. A voice he'd recognise anywhere; Malik!
"Malik what did you do?" Vlad hissed back.
"Nothing! Why'd you suspect me?"
"Oh well maybe it's because you and your crazy mum tried to kill me!" Vlad cried.
"Yeah, well I saved your life last week!" Malik yelled back.
"I don't really..." Vlad started off but was cut off by Malik saying, "oh god!"
"What's wrong?!" Vlad asked.
"The sun it's rising!" Malik replied fear and panic evident in his voice.
Vlad decided to take charge,"Right we'll push ourselves up on the count of three-"
Malik cut him off, "hate to break it to you but we're wearing fang-cuffs!"
"I know that we can get Renfield to to move them once we get inside!"
"And how are we going to get inside?"
"Simple! The roof still needs fixing after your mum so we'll jump down there and get Renfield to release us! Ready?"
Malik nodded then rembered Vlad couldn't see him so he said, "yes!"
"on three! One, two, three!" Vlad and Malik pushed themselves up helping each other and climbed over to the holes in the roof and jumped down.

Vlad rubbed his wrists and tried to let the feeling return to them as Renfield released Malik and him from the fang-cuffs.
Renfield then left the room and Vlad would have followed had it not been for Malik grabbing his arm.
"I just wanted to say thanks and I really should trust you more! How about we watch a movie?" Malik asked.
"Sure!" Vlad replied,"As long as it's not twilight!"
Malik laughed and nodded.
