My class for Language Arts have to do one book report every month and I did mine on Twilight. It takes place between Bella getting out of the hospital and Edward taking her to "dance." Enjoy(or not)!

Finally, after what seemed like weeks but in reality was only a few days, I was released from the hospital. I was extremely excited to be away from that dreadful place with its needles and smell of medicine. Unfortunately, my suddenly over protective father would hardly leave me alone. He even tried to watch me when I was sleeping. Now that was going overboard just a little.

I do love Charlie, whether it always seems like I do or not. However, he really was getting on my nerves. I know, I know, he loves me and cares about me but still… I knew officially that he went berserk when he seriously, 100% seriously, asked if I wanted him to arrest Edward, IN FRONT OF EDWARD!!!

"No way! Why would you even ask something like that!? It wasn't his fault at all!"

At that, Edward looked like he had gone insane as well. He still blames himself completely for everything that happened in Phoenix, no matter how much I try to tell him that he is wrong.

"If I had just stayed away from you in the first place nothing like this could have possibly happened!" was his constant argument. I swear, he still expects me to come to my senses and run away screaming.

Then about a week ago he asked if I would come somewhere with him on the next Friday. Well, that Friday is today. I don't even know where he plans on taking me, but he told me to get dressed up. I didn't really know what he meant by "dressed up" so I did a really stupid thing.

I asked Alice.

Of course Alice jumped at the chance to help get me the exact perfect dress and do my hair in a way that I am pretty sure any professional stylist would kill to be able to do. Plus it meant getting my face covered in the gunk that every girl but me couldn't live without: make-up.

So here I sit getting all Aliced-up for the date that I have no idea where it is even going to take place. I've been sitting on my bathroom counter for three hours and I am getting really fidgety. With any normal person, they would have given a chance to move around or at the very least slouch. But, no, instead I have a vampire that can't remember the fact that humans need to move occasionally doing my hair and make-up.

When I tried to remind her of this small detail, the first thought that came to mind, if looks could kill…

"Bella, really! It takes time for even me to create perfection. You should really be thanking me! When I get done with you, Edward won't be able to take his eyes off of you, you'll look so gorgeous!"

"Yes, Alice, but unfortunately, not all of us can stay still as stone like you can." I replied, earning yet another glare. I decided I would stop there because she was in the middle of curling my hair, and I have no desire for her to get angry and burn my ear off.

So, about a half hour later I was officially Aliced-up. Finally. Unfortunately that left more time to stress about where Edward was going to take me. I did have one particular thought in mind, but it really didn't seem very likely.

A couple of minutes after Alice left I got brave and decided to look in the mirror. I will admit, Alice was amazing. Looking like this, I could almost understand how Edward thought I was beautiful. Just then, I hear a sound that makes my heart beat twice as fast as it is supposed to. The doorbell. I look at the clock. Right on time.

Now, I can finally figure out what all this fuss was about.
