X.X.X
-Bang- May was startled by the door banging as she peered into the room she immediately started to look around the room to see if she could find what made the door slam, trapping her in this classroom filled with a range of posters of every colour, face and even place.

All May could see was poster after poster. It was like they were surrounding her. This was what was scaring her the most, because the people's eyes seemed to follow her movements; it was as though they were waiting for the right moment to pounce on her.

Suddenly May heard another bang, but it this time it came from behind her. Then there was a sudden –bleep, bleep- as if something was turning on. She slowly turned round to see what it was. The computer wasn't on… the genie wasn't on… it was the projector! Carefully May walked towards it and got ready to turn it off, but just as she was about to a face appeared on the screen. It had a spooky quiet voice, the face said "don't turn me off or you will pay the price!"

Now May was really scared. She tried to hide by crawling under the chairs and tables until she reached the door and pulled the handle down… but the door had other ideas. It wouldn't open no matter how hard she pulled the handle. She wanted to scream at that very moment but the sound just would not come out. Also all she could hear was the projector humming as if it was getting closer and closer. May just froze, she couldn't move.

Then suddenly the projector stopped humming and turned back off again. This allowed May to take her chance. She pulled once more on the handle hoping that somehow the door would open.

'One last pull', May thought, and with this one last pull the door seemed to magically open again. When it was open wide she ran as fast as she could out of the corridor screaming, "I've got to get out now before anything else happens!"

May ran and ran until -smack-; she bumped into her old crush Drew Hayden. Drew started to ask May a string of questions.

"May, what's up? Why are your eyes bloodshot? Why are you shaking? Why are you sweating as if you had a nightmare?"

May struggled to speak, but all she could say was "Please, Drew, just get me out of here."

"Right, I'll take you to Café Rouge. Come on", Drew replied.

As they got farther and farther away from the school, May began to calm down gradually. It took some time but she steadily told Drew everything that had happened until she bumped into him. Drew thought for a moment and said "but are you sure it wasn't a nightmare. You could have been dreaming."

"I can't be sure," she replied "it just all felt so real though."

Even Drew noticed the hind of fear that remained in May's voice as she said this.

It was about two hours later when Drew dropped May off at her home.

"Get some rest" Drew said, "and don't have any more nightmares" he told her with a caring voice and smile. May smiled back and opened the door, but as she walked in she felt that she could hear a quiet humming sound. Was it just the TV being left on stand by again by her dad? Was it a faulty light? Was she dreaming again?

Then IT happened again and all Drew could hear from the distance was screaming, a bloody murder scream.
