We Shall Meet Again

By Diego Lover

Pro-thingy

Crouching low, Diego watched as the deer grazed in the sunny meadow, unknowing of his presence. He watched for a few moments more before making his move. Creeping forward silently calculating in his head, when to capture his prey. Eventually, when the deer's attention was elsewhere, he pounced. Not expecting it, the deer instantly failed to fight, while the rest of the herd ran in different directions. The death was quick, one bite on the deer's neck, delivered from Diego, piercing its windpipe, forcing it too die. He looked up... and saw her.
