Rain. A sign of nature's grief, or its wrath? It pierced the ground without mercy, stabbed my heart for my weakness. Was it came from all emotions gathered by the sky? All sadness and memories. That would explain why my heart is aching everytime I see one.
The rain. Hiding loneliness and despair behind a bitter smile. I knew the secret of the rain, everytime I shed a tear. Not just a bunch of cold water, not just a scientific phenomenon. It was the way this world cry. To express unspoken feelings to its dying children.
It was raining the first time you met 'him'. The first time you learnt about yourself. It was raining when Akzeriuth collapsed. It was endless rain surrounding Yulia City. It was raining…all the time we enclosed in sorrow. It was raining…that day.
Score never predicted when the rain will be fallen. There were earthquakes, floods, landslides, but never rain. Where and when, we never knew. Some said that it simply because it's feeble, unimportant to record. I knew more. It was beyond Yulia, or anyone, because the rain was the very soul of the world itself.
Sometimes calm and gentle, soothing our weary mind. Sometimes vicious and unforgiving, sometimes just an empty regret. It didn't matter which one, I always waited for the rain, no matter how painful it would be. Because it was also a cluster of crystalized memories. The rain remembered averything, and preserved them. All entity and existence.
I saw you in the rain. Always.
As long as the rain still falling in this sinful earth, I shall never forget. When it stopped, the memories would be born anew. I believed you would never leave me alone, and I live up to that faith. I would wait for you, for that time to come.
"Hey, you're right! That's her!"
"What was she doing in a place like this?"
No, this is not an empty faith.
"Tear! You'll catch a cold if you keep sitting outside under this rain!"
I believe you'll come back, definitely.
"Do you hear me?"
Because the rain told me so.
"Natalia, what we should do?"
"Anise, wait. Tear? Hello?"
Right, Luke?
"I'm okay, Natalia, Anise. Let's go back."
A/N: I love rain. Sorry if you feel the description is…weird. Waiting for the review! By any chance, I just want to clear that 'you' in the third paragraph refers to Luke (So what Tear meant is Luke's encounter with Asch). I write this in case my sentence was a bit ambiguous.
Yay! This mark my 50th shot! Thanks for everyone supporting me until now!
