Lily sprinted as fast as she could to the Hecate Cabin to grab Willow. "Come on, Willow," she yelled through the window impatiently. "The games are starting!" "Whhaaa?" Willow said groggily. "Don't tell me you stayed up all night again playing Slither.io." "I was number one," said Willow excitedly, holding up her iPhone 7. Lily suddenly grabbed her phone and sprinted out the door. "Ha! Now you have to come play," she said confidently. "Nuh-uh," said Willow, grabbing another one out of her pocket. "Fine," said Lily, annoyed. "We'll just lose. Again." "Okay, okay, I'm coming," said Willow, jumping out of bed. "Now, could you leave so I can get dressed?" "Sure," said Lily. Willow whipped her clothes on, something she was used to doing since she always slept in, brushed her hair, brushed her teeth, and got onto the field all in about three minutes. "Where were you?" yelled her other teammates. "Asleep," said Willow, yawning loudly. "Well, she's here now guys, so let's start warming up," Ivy, the leader of the team said loudly. "Okay," chorused the rest of the cabin. After 15 minutes of warming up, the game bell rang. "Let's go," cried Ivy.
"Campers," Chiron began. "We have a new contestant that arrived at camp just last week. Crystal, daughter of Nike, will be joining Sky's team and going against Ivy and her crew." Ivy groaned. "I forgot. We're going against the Nike Cabin's team. That means lots of blood and yelling." "Like I was saying before I was interrupted," said Chiron, glaring pointedly at Ivy, "We have a new camper. She will be participating in today's game, capture the flag. Remember, we don't want anyone ending up in the infirmary."
All the campers nodded, though a few of the Nike children looked to be rolling their eyes, especially Sky. Chiron gave Crystal a helmet. Lily glanced over to Willow and they both looked at a girl on their team named Autumn. She was from the Ares cabin and of course, was plotting to attack the new kid. "Any ideas?" Autumn quietly asked her team "What if we drop down around her from above?'' another kid asked her. The girls shared a look again as they saw Autumn pull out a knife, dried blood still covering the blade from last week and smiled darkly.
