Another pokemon story, but this one will last longer. I think. Oh, and it will definitely be about a zoroark. Not named Zor, though. Enjoy! I just realized that makes me sound like some kinda cook...

I slowly stalked up on an unsuspecting Pichu. I got closer... closer...

Then I stopped l. The smell... it smelled of the Sickness. I whimpered and stepped back. Then I frowned. Pokémon couldn't catch the Sickness...

The pichu turned and looked at me sadly. It held a red and white ball in it's paws. I looked behind it and sighed. It was a Tamed One. It's trainer was dead. By the Sickness.

"I'm sorry for your loss..." I said. The pichu turned around and started crying, stumbling over and giving me a hug. I sighed and hugged it back, letting it's tears stream through my fur.

"He was so young... he seemed fine, then one morning the disease overtook him..." The pichu whimpered, sobbing harder into my fur. The Sickness had started a year ago. It was horrible and only affected humans. It started by turning them paler than they normally were, then they coughed blood, then they become overly aggressive, then they stopped functioning entirely.

Then they died.

"I... I'm so, so sorry... I know how it is to lose someone close to you like that... It eats you up inside, and you stop wanting to function..." I looked at the pichu. It was looking at me, hoping for something comforting, "He is dead, that's a fact. But you can still do two things for him."

"What? What can I do?" It looked desperate.

"Never forget him. If you never forget him, he is alive inside of you. And bury him. Let the ground take his flesh and let it feed the world around him, so that it can strengthen and regrow and survive!" I said, and I saw in his eyes that he was completely ready to do so.

"Can you help me?" The pichu asked.

"Of course." I responded. Then we started to dig.

"Done at last." I said as we finished covering the now body filled hole. The pichu, whose name was Alen, smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, Ravorn." It said with a smile. It hugged me, and then lay down for sleep. I got down and rapped myself around him, to keep the little guy warm.

"Your welcome, little one." I responded with a smile.

Huh. Not half bad, if I do say so myself!
