Hahaha I felt like writing something for this pairing ^^ this is what came to mind XD
Chewing Gum
Kiba X Sakura

There are two things Kiba Inuzuka knew about Sakura Haruno.
One- Her hair looked like bubblegum.
Two- She smelled like bubblegum.
His first thought on the matter had been 'how cliche'. And it was, because not only did she smell like it, but she was always blowing a stupid pink bubble in class and ignoring everybody else. She had basically no friends, just a loner who seemed like she thought she was to cool for everybody else.
Which she wasn't.
In fact, in his eyes, she was a freak!
So that's why it was awkward when he found himself sitting next to Sakura Haruno on a public bus headed to Suna.
Akamaru was skillfully hidden in his backpack (he was sure he'd get bit when he took him out) but that still didn't mean that it wasn't rather obvious that he had him. So he shifted uncomfortably when she sat down next to him. He silently prayed that she hadn't notice a quietly howling Akamaru. But, obviously god wasn't listening, and he saw her smirk.
She wasn't the only one who noticed, and the man sitting in front of them turned around.
He was the type of man you would avoid (probably the reason why he was sitting alone) and glared around. "Is that a dog I hear?" Kiba was racking his brain for an answer with Sakura answered.
"Oh! Sorry sir! That must be my stomach. I forgot to eat this morning, so that must be it! I'm sorry if it's bugging you!"
She gave a sheepish smile as the man looked oddly at her, before turning around.
Kiba breathed out a breath of relief. "Thanks so much!" He exclaimed quietly. She laughed, and he thought about how he had never actually heard her laugh before.
"It's fine!"
He laughed back, and any awkwardness he had been feeling seemed to disappear. He pulled out a packet of mint gum and took out a piece. He looked up, only to find the pinkette staring at the gum. "Ah! Uh, could I have a piece?"
Kiba shrugged his shoulders. "Sure." He handed her a piece, and she quickly unwrapped it and popped it in her mouth.
"Thanks!"
And as the bus ride continued, he found the list of things he knew about Sakura Haruno lengthen quite a bit. He also found that he liked her smell, the smell of bubblegum with just the hint of mint, irresistible to his nose.
An odd thought entered his head, and before he could stop himself, he said it out loud. "What's it like to kiss someone who's chewing gum?"
Sakura smirked as he flushed red, embarrassed he had thought out loud. Before he could say anything though, she responded.
"Here, find out for yourself."
