What You Mean to Me

(This is my first Silvaze production. I wrote this after seeing the end of Silver's story in Sonic 06. I felt the separation of Silver and Blaze was very sad, so this is set sometime after that has happened.)

Silver felt so alone. And he knew why; because Blaze wasn't by his side. She was all Silver could think of. He somehow had this feeling for Blaze that he couldn't explain and he understood what it was as she was separated from him.

She was really the one for him. She had what he didn't. He really cared for her and undeniably... he loved her. He really wanted to tell her, but somehow he just couldn't say it.

Now she was gone, and he knew that he was alone. He never wanted it to end like this. He knew that they deserved to be together. Even though they were both completely different from each other, Silver still felt that he and Blaze were meant to be with each other.

Even though he was now alone, that belief hadn't changed to Silver. He was sure that Blaze was somewhere out there, even though he didn't know where she might be, and someday they would see each other again.

That night, Silver looked out at the starry sky. This was something that Blaze would have really wanted to see. And Silver really wanted to share this with her; it would have made her happy.

Silver decided that even though he had no idea of where Blaze was, he would let her know of how he really felt for her. It was something that he knew that she would want to hear. So, he was going to share that with her, even though she wasn't by his side.

"Blaze, I don't know if you can hear me, but wherever you are, there's something I wanted to tell you. I always had this feeling for you that I wasn't able to explain. I couldn't describe it, either. I just felt like even though we were very different, we were meant to be together. I always think of you, even though you're not with me anymore. But I'm sure that someday we'll be able to see each other again. Until then, Blaze, I want to tell that... I love you." Silver explained.

He was sure that that would have Blaze happy. And wherever she was, Silver knew that she somehow heard him. What he had told Blaze is what she meant to him.
