Not a peep,
Not a sound,
Darkness all around.
I am alone,
No one can hear me,
For I am barely breathing.
Nothing to see,
No one to love,
Blackness up, around, above.
I have a desire,
To see the light,
I want to be free, go without a fight.
But I can feel him,
He's in my way,
Forcing me to remain.
I don't want to,
But does he care?
I shake my mass of purple hair.
No. I am his prisoner,
Forced to stay here, silent as a whisper.
He will never let me go,
For I am a part of him,
He is my foe.
My one nemesis,
That only I can see,
And I know deep within me that I will never be free.
