Like the Snow, Like the Sun

Like the snow that falls and beckons me to tumble into it so that I may never rise from it again I fall into her eyes, never wanting to leave them

Like the snow that floats down from the heavens and grazes my cheek with a gentle touch I feel her silken hand caress with a tenderness that almost isn't there

Like the snow that blankets the ground with a purity that not even a saint could attain I yearn for her and the purity of our love

Like the snow that tastes so sweet against my lips when it finds itself there on such a rare occasion my lips meet hers in an embrace that makes me wish, even if for just a moment, that it would snow here, always and forever

Like the sun that shines to brighten my day his messy blonde hair brings a smile to my face that no warmth will ever know

Like the sun whose rays speak with a warmth that leads to the soul his words leave an everlasting warmth within mine

Like the sun that burns the skin and leaves it red with a little time just the sound of his voice leaves my cheeks covered in crimson

Like the sun that brings life to earth I can not live without him and, even if for just a moment, it makes me wish that the sun would shine here, always and forever

Like the Snow, Like the Sun

So different, yet right forone another
