Why I Trusted Him

(I wrote this after seeing the time Amy spends with Silver during his story. I had to wonder what was going through Amy's head during that time, so that's how this came about.)

I don't know why. I don't why I trusted Silver. After all, he did try to hurt Sonic. I know he had his reasons, but I just couldn't understand why he would do that.

I thought that if I helped him find who he was looking for, that could help me find Sonic. I thought something was going on, but I didn't question anything.

I didn't know that I was leading myself into a very dangerous situation and I would in some way be responsible for what Silver did to Sonic.

When I saw that Sonic was in trouble, I couldn't believe what I got myself into. But I could see that Sonic needed help, so I acted fast and stopped Silver before he could hurt Sonic.

This gave Sonic the chance to escape, while I confronted Silver. I couldn't believe that he was looking for Silver, and wanted to do something like this to him.

Silver told me that Sonic was the reason why his world was condemned. I couldn't believe it. There was no way that Sonic would be responsible for something like that.

"That's crazy! Sonic would never do that!" I shouted, standing up for Sonic. I knew that he wouldn't do something like that; it just didn't seem possible.

Silver protested, saying that it was true. Before he could continue, I stopped him short. "I don't believe it. Even if that was true..." I said. I knew that I wasn't right in trusting Silver, then.

"If I had to choose between the world and Sonic, I would choose Sonic!" I said, and walked off, leaving Silver standing wordless.

That mistake taught me a valuable lesson: that I shouldn't trust others, when I don't know what they're really after. I hope I don't make that same mistake again, because the next time it happens, I could regret that choice for the rest of my life.
