Harry Watson sat at the breakfast table of a lovely old house, watching Clara do the crossword puzzle, and wondering just how in the hell she'd wound up here. She'd never expected to find someone she wanted to marry, she'd never expected that someone to want to marry her, and she'd certainly never expected that someone to have a well-off American father.

"So, er, what's the plan for today?" Harry asked, silently hoping it was something low-key. It was only her second day in America and she was still jet lagged.

"I thought I should take you to the happiest place on Earth," Clara said with a smile.

Harry blinked. "Isn't Disney World in Florida?"

Clara rolled her eyes. "Anybody who thinks Disney World is the happiest place on Earth hasn't actually been."

"Uh… the Grand Canyon?"

"That's… er… rather far away," she said. "Try again."

"Can I get a hint?" Harry pleaded.

"It's to do with sports," Clara said with a smile.

"Um… is it an outdoor sport?"

"In January?" Her fiancée asked incredulously. "Definitely not."

"Is it football?"

"Nope," Clara said cheerfully.

Harry blinked. "What other indoor sports are there?"

Clara chuckled. "We're going to a Huskies game – in Connecticut, the only sport worth watching is basketball!"

A/N: In "Empire of Dirt", I have Harry make an offhand comment about being a good basketball player, and JAL asked how Harry got interested in such an American sport. There's more where this came from, but I wanted to get this bit out for her birthday. :)
