Anthy looked up as the door to the rose garden opened behind her. It was Utena. "Is your class finished Miss Utena?" Anthy asked as she picked up the watering can.
"Anthy you don't have to call me 'Miss' all of the time you know." Utena said. It only slightly annoyed her that Anthy kept calling her 'Miss' all of the time. Anthy smiled at her.
"I know that Miss Utena but you are the engaged. It is my duty to be with you." Anthy told her still smiling. Utena sighed. She could never win this. Well, at least she had not so far. Utena looked down at her rose crest ring and her eyes glazed over. Anthy looked at Utena. "Miss Utena is there something wrong?" she asked. Utena looked up and smiled at Anthy.
"Nope. Nothing's wrong." Utena smiled and put her hand lightly on her jacket pocket. She watched Anthy as watered the rose carefully. The sun streamed through the windows and reacted with the water. Utena noticed a small rainbow appear. "Hey Anthy, you've made a rainbow." Utena told her and pointed to it. Anthy looked up and saw it.
"It's so pretty." Anthy replied.
"It sure is." Utena said. She stood beside Anthy. "Anthy I have a present for you." Utena told her.
"Really Miss Utena. You didn't have to." Anthy replied. Utena put her hand into her right pocket and pulled out a small box. "I saw it in a shop window and thought you would like it." Utena told her as Anthy opened the box to see a small butterfly brooch with different colour glass beads for wings.
"Thank you Miss Utena." Anthy said. Just then the door opened and Aiko walked in.
"Big brother." Anthy called to him. He smiled at Anthy and gave her a brotherly hug. After they pulled apart Anthy showed her brother the brooch. "Look what Miss Utena has bought me." Utena blushed slightly as they both looked at her.
"It was nothing really." She replied and left the rose garden for them to talk.
