Alex Mercer roamed the streets of Detroit,intent on finding the one 'Evolved' that got away. He knew Roberts was here,but he was harder to track then normal human. He blocked his scent so he was impossible for Mercer to track. Mercer smiled,however,because there was One way.
The Hive mind.
But in order to establish the link,He had to infect the Motor city. Infect Detroit.
That wouldn't be hard to do.
After All Mercer,after being consumed by James Heller,still managed to reform himself from a lone blood cell. He could infect a new city. Restart the plague and cripple humanity.
Mercer,calm and collected,walked into a crowded space,intent on bringing about the end of humanity.
