This is my first fanfic on ! I hope it's not too bad..
Music could be heard everywhere, everyone was jumping around. Moshing, crowd-surfing.. you name it. I was amazed by all of it, you could tell it was my first time at Warped. My favorite band, the Maine where on stage playing "I Must Be Dreaming", I just loved every second of it. I loved getting lost in the music. It just sucked that I came to my first Warped show alone though. My friends aren't exactly in to "bands" like I am. All they listen to is mainstream music like, Eminem or Lil Wayne... yuck. The Maine were close to ending their set as they played their last song "Girls Do What They Want" which was obviously, amazing.
It was now about 9 pm and my mom forgot to pick me up from Warped. That wasn't too new of her to do. I rolled my eyes and called her again. She still didn't pick up her phone. Ugh. Well..I saw the lead singer John Oh, from the Maine sign some autographs to some over-obsessed fans. Eh, you know it's John Oh and he's gorgeous so I made my way up to him.
"Hey, can you sign this please?" I smiled, I wasn't nervous at all. He's just a human being like us, right?
"Sure!" He signed the "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" CD, man you could sure get lost in his green eyes.
"Um, thanks haha."
"Hey, do you have a ride or something? Cause everyone seems to be leaving now and a girl like you shouldn't be out here at this time at Warped.. it can get pretty dangerous."
I just looked at him, I almost forgot was he was saying because his green eyes were just that gorgeous. "Uh.. yeah my mom was supposed to pick me up but as you can see.. she forgot."
"Oh. Well, there's still some drinks left here and there.. want to grab one with me?" He said, smiling at me.
Did he just ask me to grab a drink with him? Whoa, I didn't see that one coming. "Sure, I'd love to!"
Before the slushy stand closed, John got us two raspberry slushies. He was sure thirsty, he drank that thing up in like 2 minutes.
"Well, aren't you thirsty?" I chuckled
"Hah, yeah. Playing all these songs for you guys can make me pretty thirsty. So, do you live around here?" He asked looking at me with all of his attention.
"You could say so. It's a one hour ride from Burbank to LA."
"Well.. I could give you a ride if you want to."
And that's the exact same time I heard my phone ring. My mom was here, great. "Oh I'd love to, but my mom just called me and.. I have to go." I said, sighing because hanging out with John was really fun.
He handed me a piece of paper, with his number on it. "I'd hope to hear from you sometime." He smiled at me.
I smiled back at him and replied with a simply "Thanks." and then walked away. Well that was quite a day..
