Chapter 1: Morning Workout

Naruto had woken up to the sounds of explosions. The fifteen year old gathered his thoughts and peered outhis apartment window. In the neraby training field he spotted his best friend, Sasuke Uchiha, training his taijustu and even incorporating the use of explosive tags. Naruto rushed out of his apartment still in his goofy pajamas to reprimend the raven-haired Uchiha
"Hey, teme!" What do you think youjr doing. You woke me up! The blond was fuming.
"Baka why are you still sleeping. It's 2pm.
Naruto stopped to take in the revelation. He knew the village was still under construction from Pain's attack six months ago. Even after mastering the Kyuubi, winning the war, and bringing Sasuke back the the newly promoted chuunin just couldn't get his act together.
" Naruto, your too old to act like a 'baka' as Sasuke so accurately put it." came a bored voice from behind the teenage duo.
The teenage ninja turned to look up at the face of their instructor, Kakashi Hatake.
" I know." responded Naruto. " It's just that I can't break my habits, Kakashi- sensei." Naruto whispered more to himself than Kakashi.
" Anyway, I came to tell you both to get prepared for our mission tomorrow. Sakura will be joining us."
"Hn." Sasuke pouted.
"Hey, what was that about?" yelled an upset blond.
" All Sasuka's gonna do is hold us back like the old days." Sasuke replied in his monotone voice, uncaring and cold as ice.
" She's changed. Sakura-chan as a set of new skills now! Believe it.!
" We'll see soon enought."
