Prompt 10: Insanity
"Ken-chan, I have a question." said Yachiru as the odd pair of soul reapers walked through the Seireitei. The Captain and Vice-captain of squad 11 were presently on their way to visit Captain Ukitake of the 13th to ask him to watch Yachiru for a few hours. "What is it, brat. This better not be about getting a pet again. You remember what happened the last time." said Kenpachi, shuddering at the memory. How Yachiru ever talked the Vice-Captain of the 12th into giving her one of the many experiments as a pet, he'd never know. Having kill a creature that was only docile around small children, but would kill anyone it deemed to be old, had been a pain in the ass. Thankfully, Kenpachi had only needed a few stitches, but Ikkaku and Yumichika were still on crutches and almost every unseated member of the division was dead, with the exception of Maki-Maki and few others who'd been out drink at the time.
"Silly Ken-chan, I already promised I wouldn't do that again. I want to know something else. Why is the Clown-man crazy?" Yachiru asked, looking at Kenpachi, waiting for his answer. "Well brat, I'm not sure why Mayuri is crazy. Maybe he just worked too hard until he snapped, though I'm leaning more towards him just being born that way. Ask his Vice-captain next time you see her, maybe she knows. Besides, the way I see it he's not normal crazy, just sick in the head crazy." Kenpachi replied. "But why do you say that Ken-chan? What's the difference?" asked Yachiru, looking confused.
"Mayuri is sick in the head crazy, which means he's mostly insane. People who are normal crazy are a little insane, but they still have honor. In some situations their dangerous, but at least they know when they've gone too far. People like Mayuri just won't quit." said Kenpachi. "So what are we Ken-chan?" asked Yachiru after a moment. "We're normal crazy. No matter what other people say, we'll always be better than that Clown-teme. After all, a little bit of crazy is all right." Kenpachi stated, ending the discussion.
"Ken-chan, I have another question." said Yachiru. "What is it now, brat?" asked Kenpachi. "Can I get a dog?"
Kenpachi sighed. He should have known. After all, repeatition is a sign of insanity.
