American McGee's Tails
Chapter 1: The Madness Begins
Things could not get worse for the poor fox known as Tails. 3 weeks after he was forced to kill the one he loves, he had gone mad from guilt and was sent to Doug Walker Asylum for Truly Insane Toons. All he had to keep him company in his cell was a plush toy of Daffy Duck, one of his best friends in the Youtube universe of Sonofjafar.
One night, he heard the little toy actually speak to him without moving his lips. "SAVE US, TAILS!" The duck had called from deep within Tails' mind. When this was said, Tails was soon falling down a strange portal into the universe that he had called home and had not seen in years. Yet, something had changed. The world of Sonofjafar had been twisted into a realm of darkness and despair.
He saw Daffy in front of him, but he was so skinny you could practically see his skeleton. "Don't just stand there, Tails," he snapped, "we're late for a very important date." After this, he ran off. Meanwhile, just behind Daffy, Tails saw an equally creepy version of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, another good friend of his, walking towards. "OK…" Tails said, slightly creeped out, "You kinda look a little scary there, Oswald. Good thing you never lost that whimsical design scheme." "You've developed quite the attitude," Oswald said, "still curious and willing to learn, I hope. I guess you know what must be done. Follow that duck." Oswald used a portable hole and left Tails to find where Daffy had run off to.
While pursuing Daffy, Tails ran into Oswald again. "You might need this," Oswald said, handing Tails a butcher knife, "It may be useful in this version of the Sonofjafar universe, even though you'll find better stuff later." Suddenly, one of Evil Ash's PokeGuards burst into the area to capture Tails. Tails took the knife and sliced the PokeGuard in half. "Looks like Daffy picked the right fox for saving our world." Oswald said to himself.
