Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, although David Yates seems to think that he does... Anyway, anything that you recognize is all J.K. Rowling's... Please thank her :)

Draco Malfoy watched the tiny, blonde girl with confused silver eyes. She amazed him, baffled him. She could do anything without minding what anyone else thought about it. Or her. Her pale, bare feet stepped into the soft, green moss as though it was calling to her with sweet voices. Draco tucked a lip under a diamond white tooth and tried to make his footsteps quiet as he followed. Luna Lovegood. Loony Lovegood in all reality. Who knew what a fascinating creature she actually was? The poor girl had no idea what she was doing to him.
Luna quietly, dreamily skirted over the wet ground. It was raining, her clothes and hair were plastered to her skin. She giggled and raised her hands toward the sky. She didn't mind the rain, she just wished that it wasn't cold. She shivered, but the thought of returning to the castle didn't cross her mind once. She was tired of the stuffy old castle. She didn't understand how people could spend their whole lives trapped in a drafty castle that squashed all prospects of dreaming. That was how she lived. By daydreaming. That was how she stayed above it all. Not even the names people said about her bothered her.
Draco rolled his eyes as the rain started to splash from the heavy clouds in the sky. It had threatened to storm all day, but how was he supposed to know that he would be trapped in the middle of it? Anger flashed through his slight body and he had to bite his tongue to keep from cursing at the top of his lungs.
"Is someone there?" Luna asked, her misty gray eyes swiveling around the forest. Draco caught himself lightly as he tripped backwards and closed his eyes, as though that would keep her from seeing him. Her dreamy voice floated towards him once more. "Hello? Oh. Well, I thought that someone was coming to join me."
Draco silently cursed himself for being too much of a coward to speak up. If he had been following anyone other than Luna he would have spoken up. Or, in better words, he would have yelled at them for being out there with him. He shook the water out of his eyes and silently trudged out of the forest. Maybe it was good that Luna didn't know he was following her. She would probably stop coming to the forest for fear of coming across her snake-like stalker.
He sighed heavily and smiled as the soft green moss gave away underneath his feet. It was something that would always remind him of her. The sharp contrast of the dark green underneath the creamy white of her skin. At least he could say that he was just as sane as she was for watching some whacked-up fourth year as closely as he was.
