Prolouge
I never thought that by coming to save Edward that I would be stuck in an elevator with five vampires. Three human drinkers and two animal drinkers.
Chapter 1
Once inside the elevator the three vampires that belonged to the Volturi relaxed further. They threw back their cloaks, letting the hoods fall on their shoulders. Felix and Demetri were both of a slightly olive complexion- it looked odd compared to their chalky pallor. Felix's black hair was cropped short, but Demetri's waved to his shoulders. Their irises were deep crimson around the edges, darkening until they were black around the pupil. Under the shrouds, their clothes were modern pale and nondescript. I coward in the corner, cringing against Edward. His hand still rubbed against my arm. He never took his eyes off Jane. ( this is part of the actual book I just wanted to put it in here so that I would know what I was talking about)
About a minute the ride started the elevator came to an abrupt halt and the power shut off. I cringed further into Edwards side as the back up lights came on.
"Well, well, well. Looks as if we'll be stuck here a while." Felix said. Edward growled.
"Now. Now, Edward. We wouldn't want your presious little human to get scared now would we," Jane said with a smirk on her face. I cringed even further into his side. Just then the elevator was falling downwards at an alarming rate.
