A/N: I bought the "Angol Fear 2" artwork in the Museum mode of Soul Calibur 4 and I started having thoughts of Angol Fear X Cassandra yuri...this is probably not the last fic of these two that I'll write...the picture was of Angol Fear leaning very close over Sophitia, who was lying on a white outline of the grass or something. Sure, it's meant to mean something else entirely, but a fanboy can dream...right?
Sophitia Alexandra was very excited when Cassandra said she was going to bring her girlfriend over for dinner. Sophitia and her whole family (including Rothion's side of the family) knew about Cassandra's sexual preferences and they all fully supported her. Cassandra was an adult, after all, and she was allowed to choose who she wanted to be with.
Still, Sophitia couldn't help but have doubts in the farthest reaches of her mind. 'I hope she doesn't bring home a pedophilic hooker like last time...' she thought as she recalled how traumatized her kids had been after that incident. She closed her eyes and shivered; she never wanted to go through anything like that ever again.
Suddenly, as Sophitia was chopping up some onions, she heard the front door open, and a familiar voice call out for her.
"Sophitia! It's me, Cassandra! I'm home! And I have someone I want you to meet!"
Smiling, Sophitia put down the kitchen knife and ran out to the living room to see her beloved younger sister. Rothion, Patroklos and Pyrrha were already there, greeting both Cassandra and the woman that was standing next to her. When Sophitia saw them, her eyes immediately fell on Cassandra's new girlfriend...
...and for some reason, she felt like they had met before.
"Ah, there you are, Sophitia!" Cassandra exclaimed when she noticed her sister, "I would like you to meet Angol Fear! We're currently dating..."
"IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU." Angol Fear said, holding out her hand to Sophitia.
Reluctantly, Sophitia shook the woman's hand, and for a moment she felt like a wave of ice-cold water had just splashed over her.
Sophitia gasped and pulled back, her body still shivering. The woman named Angol Fear smirked at her reaction, and turned back to Cassandra to speak to her.
"YOU HAVE A VERY NICE FAMILY, CASSANDRA DARLING. I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE IN YOUR FAMILY WHO IS VERY KIND..." Angol Fear said, her face emotionless.
'Why the hell does she talk like that? She's creeping me out...' Sophitia thought nervously. The cold feeling had left her, but she still felt very uncomfortable. That Angol Fear person was very strange...very strange indeed...
Then Cassandra and Angol Fear shared a quick kiss on the lips, and Rothion quickly covered the kids' eyes.
Sighing, Sophitia went back into the kitchen to continue preparing for dinner, but Cassandra followed her and offer some assistance. She left Angol Fear in the living room to speak with Rothion for now.
"So...what do you think of her, Sophitia? Isn't she the greatest?" Cassandra asked once the two sisters were alone in the kitchen, "I think I might have finally found my soulmate! She's just so wonderful! Right? Right? Right?"
"Cassandra...are you really in love with her?" Sophitia asked in a bossy tone; she usually spoke like this whenever she was overly serious about something.
Cassandra gave her older sister a confused look and cried, "W-What are you trying to say? Are you saying there's something wrong with Angol? Sister, you need to stop being so suspicious of people-"
"When she touches you, do you ever feel an ice-cold sensation overcome your senses?" Sophitia asked, interrupting her.
Cassandra shook her head. "No, never. I always feel warm and safe in her arms. I don't understand what you're asking, though, sister..." she replied with a shake of her head.
Sophitia, deciding to just give up on learning more about Angol Fear until later, just sighed and said, "I...I apologize, Cassandra. I just wanted to make sure she wasn't using you...or planning to hurt you. I just want you to find happiness, you know that..."
"I know that, sister," Cassandra replied, "But I think I may truly found my happiness, and it's with Angol Fear. I know her name is a little...strange...but she's in no way a danger to me. I care deeply for her, and she feels the same for me. Okay?"
Sophitia didn't want to piss off her little sister even further, so she just agreed to not suspect Angol Fear of any evil misconduct anymore. Although she didn't plan on actually following that promise...
However, now Sophitia was beginning to feel a bit jealous of Cassandra's and Angol Fear's relationship.
'It's times like these that make me miss Taki...' Sophitia thought with a sigh.
When the food was finally ready (Sophitia decided to have Rothion make it instead since HE never risked his life fighting demons and monsters and having to kill other human beings to save the world), everyone rushed into the dining area and took their seats at the large circular table. Cassanda and Angol Fear sat next to each other, of course.
"So...how did you two meet each other?" Rothion asked after everyone prayed before the meal.
Cassandra blushed a bit as she explained, "Well, actually...it was while I was searching for Sophitia when she left to destroy Soul Edge and everything. We fought for a bit, but then Angol knocked me over and she...she kind of lost her balance and fell on top of me. It makes me so embarrassed every time I think about how it happened..."
While Cassandra continued to speak, Sophitia was glaring daggers over at Angol Fear, who was slowly and calmly eating the salmon that had been placed in front of her. Now she was able to get a better description of Cassandra's new girlfriend.
Angol Fear had tan skin, and she wore a weird round hat with spikes. She also had a tight dress that showed off her curves, and there were even spike-things were her nipples would be. Only one thought came to Sophitia's mind when she saw this:
'Damn, this girl is kinky! ...Pyrrha, stop staring at her boobs with that lustful gaze in your eyes!'
"So, Angol Fear...why did you fall in love with my sister? Do you REALLY care about her?" Sophitia asked coldly.
Cassandra stood up and slammed her hands on the table. "Sophitia, you promised you wouldn't-"
Placing a comforting hand on her lover's shoulder, Angol Fear smiled and said, "DO NOT WORRY, CASSANDRA. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH ANSWERING SOPHITIA'S QUESTION."
Cassandra nodded back at her and she sat down, sighing. Angol Fear then turned her attention back to Sophitia. She said, "SOPHITIA, I WOULD LIKE TO ASSURE YOU THAT IN NO WAY DO I PLAN ON MANIPULATING, ABUSING, MISTREATING OR CHEAT ON CASSANDRA. SHE IS VERY DEAR TO ME, AND I LOVE HER WITH ALL OF MY HEART. I WILL NOT MAIM HER, BURN HER, ELECTROCUTE HER, THROW HER OVER A CLIFF, OR VIOLENTLY STAB HER IN THE EYE. YOU HAVE MY WORD. IF, HOWEVER, I AM CALLED BACK TO MY HOME PLANET, I WILL TAKE CASSANDRA WITH ME, AS I CANNOT BARE TO LIVE WITHOUT HER BY MY SIDE. I WILL EVEN SACRIFICE MY LIFE IF IT MEANS PROLONGING HERS. MY ENTIRE SOUL CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT CASSANDRA."
"...Your home planet?" Sophitia snapped.
Cassandra giggled and waved it off, saying, "Oh, Sophitia, Angol darling just says some of the most hilarious things, you know? She's such a kidder...she always makes me laugh! So, do you understand that the feeling is mutual between us?"
Sophitia had no choice but to give in; Angol Fear seemed to be completely trustworthy. Taking in a deep breath, she replied, "Very well...I understand clearly now. Angol Fear...I apologize for suspecting you of possibly planning on messing around with my younger sister in evil and mean-spirited ways. Can you forgive me?"
"OF COURSE." Angol Fear said with a slight grin.
Suddenly, just as the two women were about to shake hands, the entire house began to rumble violently. Fine glassware and other valuables inside the various cabinets and such around the house were shaken out of position and they crashed to the floor, shattering into pieces. Soon, as the vibration grew even stronger, a loud wailing sound pierced the silence.
"W-What...what the hell is going on?" Rothion cried out as he grabbed the kids, who were both screaming and sobbing at the same time.
Sophitia gasped when she saw that Angol Fear's eyes were now glowing a bright yellow. Angol wrapped her fingers tightly around Cassandra's arm and she said loudly to everyone in the room, "IT SEEMS I HAVE BUSINESS TO ATTEND TO BACK AT HOME. AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, I AM TAKING CASSANDRA WITH ME..."
And, before anyone could protest, the two of them were enveloped in a glowing light, they leaned over to one another and lips locked...and then they vanished. The wailing noise soon followed suit. The shaking finally stopped and Rothion and Sophitia were both left speechless.
Turning to his wife, Rothion grinned weakily and said, "...She seems like a nice girl."
Sophitia responded by throwing her shield at his head, and then she left to get drunk and forget her sorrows until tomorrow.
'I really miss Taki now...' the blonde thought with the heaviest sigh she had let out all day.
