I Am Number 6
A/N…..I've had this idea in my head for a while, so tell me what you think!
Chapter 1- Number 4?
Here I am sitting on my bed, in this little town called Forks. Everything is so much different here than it was on Lorian. You're probably wondering what I'm talking about. I'm Isabella Marie Swan and I moved her from Phoenix to live with my "dad".
The truth is, I'm from the planet Lorian and when I was about 7 or 8 years old the Mogadorians invaded our planet. The Mogadorians killed everyone but the 18 of us that escaped. 9 of the Guard, the people of Lorian who receive Legacies or "powers", and the Keepers, the people of Lorian who don't have powers and who keep the Guard safe.
Numbers 1, 2, and 3 are dead. Number 4 is on the run. I am Number 6. And I know that I'm coming soon after. Charlie is my keeper if you haven't already guessed that. We will probably have to leave again soon.
My legacies have started to come in and that's why I've been out "sick." Legacies could show up anytime or anywhere. So far I have telekinesis and I can control the weather. It's pretty cool. The only problem is I have a vampire "boyfriend" and as I'm telling you this, we are on the way to his house. My time is cut short. We will just have to see how it plays out.
Well…..here we are. The house crawling with vampires….Should I be scared you ask? No, I could out run all of them.
"Come on Bella, you're going to freeze." Edward says with a humorous tone. "Ok, let's go."
~Time Skip, 1 Hour later~
Once again, here I am, but this time, I'm at the Cullen's house watching Emmet and Jasper play Halo. Boys and their video games…..What was that? I think as a strange scent blows into the room. It smells like…like….like me. I come to a small realization. Another person from Lorian is outside.
"Edward," I say slowly, "What you're about to see and hear is going to freak you out…now…come outside please." Edward looks at me quizzically, but follows me anyway.
I walk outside. I see him.
"Excuse me," I once again say slowly, "But, I'm Number 6….who are you?" The boy just stares and then comes running up to me.
"My name is Number 4 and my keeper, Henri, is gone...I…I think he was captured my Mogadorians." He says in one breath. "Woah…calm down Number 4, we'll find him. Come on, let's go to my house and we'll talk to Charlie, my keeper, about it. Maybe, he can help." Number 4 calms down and I finally notice his hands.
"You have Lumen?" I say with a surprised tone. He only nods his head. "Anything else?" I ask. "Well, I just developed telekinesis about an hour ago."
"Really? I have telekinesis too….I can also control the weather." I say with a smile on my face.
Only then did I hear the quivering voice of Alice. "B-B-B-Bella!" I turn around and see something I wish I would have never seen. I hear Number 4 gasp and saw his face go from scared to determined. This is on. I will not let another of Guard die right next to me.
