"You can't be serious" Amelia said as she watched Owen's hand reaching to the jar, to that jar.

"What? What is wrong?" Owen asked and put the jar in the cart.

"Crunchy peanut butter?" Amelia took it out and put it back on the shelf "you aren't buying it, I didn't move in with you for that".

"Come on what kind is better than the crunchy?" Owen looked at her shocked.

"The smooth one obviously" Amelia took a smooth peanut butter from the shelf and put it in the cart instead of the one Owen took.

"No" Owen looked horrified, he was very attached to his peanut butter "look you can't like the smooth one, it is fake and unreal, the crunchy is authentic… it's how the peanut butter meant to be".

"Are you for real? Meant to be? It is only peanut butter" Amelia laughed and was about to move along to continue shopping but Owen had another plan, he had a plan to get his revenge on her after yesterday when she let Meredith and Maggie make fun of him for an hour while waiting for her to get dressed.

"Only peanut butter?" Owen raised his voice a bit, just enough to spin a few heads in their direction "Peanut is life, when you were a kid and took that sandwich to school and you grow up so well only because of that".

Amelia froze for a second the thought that maybe Owen lost his mind crossed hers but then it hit her mostly because of his little smirk on the side of his lips. She decided to play along.

"Well as you see I didn't grow up so tall, and it is only because Lizzy loved crunchy peanut butter, if my mom would make my sandwiches with smooth peanut butter and strawberry jam…" Amelia was interrupted by Owen.

"Strawberry? No. Cherry jam" Owen said "Cherry and crunchy".

"Strawberry, do you want me to spell it for you? And smooth with two O" Amelia took a jar of each kind of peanut butter and read the label "you see, more vitamin E".

"Never mind how much vitamin E there are in it you aren't giving this abomination to our kids" Owen was satisfied with the silence for a second before he heard what he said he looked at Amelia who looked as shocked as he is.

"Well I think I could live with cherry but no crunchy for our kids, But you will have to make then, deal?" Amelia's voice was quiet but stable, she was well aware of her words and impact of them on their future and she was ready for that.

"Deal, so…" Owen didn't know how to react.

"Milk we need milk" Amelia said as she saw all the people stare.

"And some condoms maybe" a voice behind them said, they turned around to see Alex and Jo.

"Yeah that's a good idea" Amelia said and took Owen's hand leaving the shopping behind and walking out of the grocery store, food isn't that important.
