AN: Ok, I have obsessions that come and go. My latest one is Ron/Hermione/Harry pairing. I don't know why. It just is. I do hope this is alright… It takes place after Sirius died. So between fifth year and sixth year. My other stories are on a temporary hiatus. In other words, I'm struggling a lot writing them and have no idea when they will be updated. And don't forget to review please! It's just a little button.

Disclaimer: Alas, I am an Australian teenager that is saving for a holiday so has no money. In other words, I do not own any of this.

Tears

A figure hunched over a desk. Its shoulders shaking with silent sobs. With an anguished cry it cleared its desk in one swipe of its arms. As a knock sounded at the door the figure glanced up, revealing haunted emerald eyes. "Harry?" The door creaked open, revealing two figures standing in the doorway. One of the figures ran forward, its bushy hair flying behind it. Harry fell to his knees and cried. "Why?" Hermione's eyes welled up with tears at Harry's voice. She shook her head and watched Harry's hands as they tugged on his hair. Strong arms wrapped around him and tugged Harry up onto a lap.

Harry shook, tears streaming down his face. He glanced up at Hermione and Ron. "Don't leave me. Please. Don't ever leave me." Ron tightened his hold. "Never. We'll never leave you." Whispered Hermione as she kissed his forehead. Ron held out another arm and wrapped it around Hermione, pulling her into his side. "He wouldn't want you to grieve like this. You know he wouldn't." Harry sniffled and snuggled into closer in Ron's side. "It's easier this way." Hermione sighed. "It may seem that way. But it will get better. And we'll always be here." Harry looked up at them both. "Always?"

Hermione nodded and smiled at him. "Why did he have to go? Why did he leave me?" Ron hushed him and kissed the top of his head. "He never wanted to leave you. But he didn't want to stay. He was a prisoner in his own house. He would have wanted to die in battle, with honour. I don't think he would have accepted any other way." Ron and Hermione held him until his sobs silenced and his breathing deepened. Ron stood up; Harry in his arms and put him down on the bed under the covers. Ron slipped in as well and snuggled up to his side, his arm wrapped around Harry's waist. Hermione snuggled under the covers on the other side and rested her head on Harry's chest. Ron laid there and listened to Hermione's breathing even out. He pressed his lips to Harry's forehead. "I'll always stand by you, always. I love you." He shut his eyes and let himself fall into sleep.

AN: Please review! You don't have to say much… just what you think of it. And if I can improve in anyway.
