Author's note: first House story, hope you like.
Dr. Natalia Blair fixed her black pencil skirt as she walked down the hall way of PPTH Monday morning on her way to the free clinic. She had been a fellow of the infamous Dr. Gregory House for six months now, and was getting used to life here.
" Blair." yelled her colleague and best friend Dr. James Morgan. Though they had been best friends since their freshman year at Georgetown University, they kept completely professional at work and only referred to each other by their surnames.
" Morgan." She nodded at her colleague and stopped to allow him to catch up.
" Did we get a case?" Natalia asked as James caught up to her five seconds later, and they continued walking.
" No, but House wants us all in the conference room so we can meet the new attending. By the way, do we even know their name?" asked James
" No, we do not. All we know is that he was the fist and only person to survive a full fellowship working under House. " she replied back as they made their way into the conference room.
Sitting in the conference room were the other fellows : Drs. Samantha Heart, Michael Riley, Kyle Marx, and Jack Thompson.
"Well, isn't it our resident Aussie. Nice that you could join us." Dr. House said as he spotted his youngest fellow.
" Brit, House, I'm British. I really have no idea how you got it into your head that I'm Australian , since I grew up in Oxford, England and you know it but whatever…" she said trailing off in an exasperated voice. Ever since her interview, House insisted that she was Australian. But really she was no where close, unless you count Italian close to Australian.
" Okay, my little minions. Today you will all meet your new big brother. He will be more important than you but somehow not nearly as important as me. Blair, Riley, and Morgan, you will be working for him today; Heart, Marx, and Thompson, you will be with me. Now be good little minions and find us cases. That is all you are dismissed." House finished his little speech and went into his office.
Blair stood up and Morgan and Riley joined her.
" I'm going to the clinic to work on my hours and maybe find us a case." Blair said
" That's a good idea. I'm gonna do that too. And I'll page you if I find us a case." commented Riley
" I'm done with my hours for this month, so I'll go find Dr. Cameron in the ER and see if she has anything for us." Morgan said, and with that the three young doctors parted ways,
