A/N Hey, my first Sherlock poem!

So, this is based off of Mycroft's quote in ASiP:

"Most people blunder down the street, seeing people and shops and cars. When you walk with Sherlock, you see the battlefield. You've seen it already, haven't you?"

and this poem is in John's POV.

Oh, and thanks to SH Ships Sherlock (again) for reading this first!

Enjoy!

When I was a kid

I saw the world as an adventure.

As an adult,

I saw it as a mountain to climb.

In the army,

I saw it as an opportunity to be useful.

When I got back home,

I saw it as the place I don't belong.

Then Sherlock Holmes came along.

Now I see anything from the country meadows

to London's streets

as a battlefield.

Can you see it to?
