A/N Yo. So I've had this little peice on my phone for awhile...Yes, yes I know I should be working on my Young Justice story that I keep promising tobupdate but this has been bothering me~ *hides* ~::~
"-viously Calvin Blaine's performance was much better than Tom Stork's! He has so much more grace, more UMPH! Oh hey Jessica, new client?" "Hello Louis. This is Carlina Wiegand, Ms. Wiegand, this is is Louis Litt, one of the firms partners." "Noble and worthy." Stated Louis. Head doing that quirky chin-upturn. Jessica, as much as her regal-ness allowed, gave him a quick dubious eyebrow-raise. "Eeeeuh-?" "Wiegand. German right? Loosely based around the words noble and worthy. I had a German neighbor once." Carlinas lips formed a soft 'o' as her eyes widened a bit. Her hands fidgeting in her lap with her cuticles. "Oh, ah that's actually really cool. To have it confirmed that is!" She corrected herself hurriedly, as if afraid about...something. "Its different coming from the horses mouth instead of google, y'know?" She finished sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. Louis brightened a bit at that bit of praise, subtlety preening. This time the 'brow-raise insinuated a sense of 'good job'. Probably for not screwing up and putting his foot in his mouth, the poor man. "Ms. Wiegand here has a very...shall we say 'interesting' request. In fact she was just going to explain that to me." "Oh! Yes, well, like it said in the email I sent you, uhmn not that I think you'd remember, you look like a very busy lady, but uh, I'm-" "Hey now, what's this? A partner meeting without me? I'm hurt," said Harvey, dramatically holding his chest as he sweeped in, "And who's this...? You can't be here for a job, your clothes literally speak for you on that-" Carlina raised an incredulous brow. Her hands went back to pulling at her cuticles. "Harvey!" Exclaimed the other two partners. Harvey went on as if the other two didn't say anything. "And you can't be a client-" "You don't know that." Carlina cut him off. "Harvey this has noth-" "Please don't mind him he li-" "Whoa now," he stepped back, hands up,"no need to be so fiesty so early, let a man finish his coffee-" "What makes me not a client?" Carlina cut in again. Harvey scoffed, Jessica rubbed the bridge of her nose, and Louis stood frozen aghast,"...well? What makes you think I can't be a client?" She asked again. Only much more impatiently. You could even say she 'bristled' a bit. Her voice had been raised enough to carry out Jessica's open office door. They now had a small audience. Well, small for now. There were frantic hand wavings for fellow workers to come see who Harvey pissed off this time. And all three partners present too. Surely this had to be good, no? Carlina was the only one privy to the firms workers mischievous antics, as she was the only one facing outside the office. 'Oh geez' she though as Harvey opened his mouth to answer.
