It was raining again.
You lie silent there before me...
Posture uncaring, blue eyes listless, his whole being radiating an unspoken sorrow that could only be seen by the unseen beings around him.
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes
His gaze unfaltering, he stared down at the final resting place of his greatest hopes and dreams, his achievements and downfalls, the love and life he no longer held... the anger and hate that had seeded itself deep within his heart long ago.
It was always you that I despised
And no matter how much he wanted to cry, to weep and sob and yell and scream his denial to the heavens that seemed to loathe him so... the tears couldn't brings themselves to come.
Sighing softly he lifted his gaze to the sky, ignoring the raindrops that caressed his face a little too hard. His eyes fell shut.
I don't feel enough for you to cry
When he opened them, sunlight blinded his vision. He blinked and sucked in a steady breath. Slowly, ever so slowly, he lowered his head to stare upon the grave. His lips twitched into a small smile, though his blue eyes were still cold and hard.
And as he turned to leave, he carefully tossed a pair of red roses, strung together with black ribbon, onto the soft earth before the tombstone.

As he walked away, the ray of sunlight upon the grave faded, and it was raining again.
