"I have to ask you something" John said.

"What is it," Sherlock replied. He watched as John got down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?"

Sherlock paused. "No."

"What is it this time?" John was exasperated.

Sherlock paced the room. "It was far too boring. Mary will never say yes."

"I don't think she'll care much." John was now regretting showing Sherlock how he was going to propose to Mary.

"Oh of course she will. She's a woman, all women like extravagant things."

"Not Mary, she's said she doesn't" John protested.

"Just like how she lied about liking that mustache."

John stood there, trying to think of a smart comeback. Sherlock smirked, "We need to plan this out very carefully." He started towards the door, whipping his coat of the hanger and with a flourish put it on. "Come on John!" Sherlock twisted his scarf on with skilled practice. "We have to propose to Mary!"
