It was one of those days.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary,

nothing seemed to be wrong.

Until something was said to him.

It caused Inuyasha to run without thinking,

I swore I saw a tear shed

Or maybe it's what I expected to see.

The minute that news was heard,

Inuyasha's life transformed into shambles.

His hands shook with anger,

And worries fled to his head instantly.

For once my words

And my voice

Couldn't heal this pain.

For once we all felt useless,

This demon who acted tough for so long

Finally broke down.

No words were said,

Or exchanged.

Inuyasha left without warning,

Wanting nobody to follow him.

Not even me.

He said he never cared about that person,

Even now it wouldn't matter or affect him.

I had never seen him

Like this before,

And it hurt everyone to see him in this state.

You can't make life better

When they have lost someone important to them.

Inuyasha was gone for hours.

Finally I decided to check up on him.

There was Inuyasha,

His eyes the colour of his kimono

And tears streaming down his cheek.

His head rested on the body,

Feeling like apart of him was ripped away instantly.

The minute he saw me there,

He was scared and wanted nobody to see.

I couldn't tell from my angle who it was,

And I had a feeling who it might have been.

Someone he cared so much for all these years…

When he lifted his head,

All of us were shocked.

There was his brother...
