My Heart will Go On
Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on.
Far across the distance and spaces between us
you have come to show you go on.
Near, far, wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more you open the door
and you're here in my heart,
and my heart will go on and on.
"If only I could've done something." Shadow said weeping as he sat beside Maria.
"Shadow" Maria whispered. "Give the People of the world a second chance. Not all of them are bad."
"I will try" Replied Shadow still weeping.
Love can touch us one time and last for a lifetime,
and never let go till we're gone.
Love was when I loved you, one true time I hold to
in my life we'll always go on.

"Shadow, just know that I love you. You were the only friend I ever had." Maria gasped.
"You too" Shadow replied. "I will not let you leave, I love you too much!"

"Please Maria stay here with me." begged Shadow.
"I will be here always. Right in here." Maria said weakly, as she pointed to his heart.
"MARIA PLEASE DON'T GO!" Shadow pleaded.
And in that second Maria said her last two words, "Goodbye Shadow…"
There was a silence for a couple minutes. Then there was a little noise a crying sound. Shadow was crying and saying over and over, "Why did they have to take you? Why not me?"
Finally he got a hold of himself. He got up, wiped the tears from his eyes and slowly walked away.
"I will never let them take anyone else I care about away" Shadow vowed. Then he turned around, looked at Maria for the last time and walked away still whimpering.
And my heart will go on and on.
