Umi Ryuzaki did not eat sweets. She only made two exceptions to this rule. Exception one was her own creations. Exception two was the occasional scoop of Haagen-dazs. Of course, the poor boys who had enough nerve to give Umi chocolates on White Day (even though she did not give them chocolate on Valentines Day) did not know this little habit of hers. So, when Umi received the a heart shaped box from a slightly nervous boy, she smiled politely, placed the box in her book bag, said "thank you" and walked off without another word. The chocolates of the box would later find a place in the closest trash can. She kept the card if there was one though.
About a year after her adventures in Cephiro, Valentines Day landed on a Sunday so Fuu and Hikaru wanted to spend the day with their beloveds (though Hikaru would never admit to loving Lantis more than she loved Eagle). Umi was about to head to the gardens when a frazzled looking Ascot stumbled upon her with that dreaded heart shaped box.
"Umi! There you are! Caldina gave me these candies and said I needed to give them to you. I'm not sure why. She pushed me out the door when Larfarga came in."
She sighed, of course Caldina would remember to play Cupid on Valentines. She was about to refuse but she was rather lonely today amidst the lovers. Ascot would be good company.
"Let's go the garden and share them."
They walked to the garden, a light blush on the taller boy's face as their fingers intertwined.
