Revolution: The Story of the Japanese Gold Rush in 1385
The hills caressed one another as a father would hug his son
One more believed the emotion that hung in the air would become so stale
And as the grasslands filled with smoke, more life was decapitated
A force pressed against the country that could only be described as valiant
Tis true there were only farmers & villagers
The children of the gods stretched out their hands forming boundaries
As time passed those walls began to collapse, and the time for change poisoned the land
The only hope that remained lay in the hands of a humble autistic bounty hunter
To see the looks of those who endeared all this defenseless…hopeless…skeptic…
Could only add to the numbers that went to the great beyond
The owls that inhabited the land served as watch hunters
Looking about in a panoramic view that baffled those who didn't understand
To even lay a finger on them, causing them to screech in terror
And upsetting the gods that had once built a dynasty in hopes of turning into a kingdom
When suddenly the sun disappeared into the horizon revealing nothing more then a memory
All the people held onto their hearts, for that's all they had to remember each other
At this point time is only a virtue, and patience is only foolishness
Each night the villagers would gather around the entrance to the forest of dreams
Praying for a miracle beyond the concept of human thought
The goal would be to bring back a once thought myth that symbolized the future
A task achieved by so few…an event that never ceases to end
And right as darkness settled into the eyes of the beholder
A cry reached out across the lands that never thought existed
After that…the souls that once stood around waiting for the pain to end got their wishes
The town is a lifeless unconscious demilitarized zone
And as the humble autistic bounty hunter strolled through the area
The only thought that traveled in his head…the one that everyone waited for
Walking about as anyone else, pretending to act as a stone statue
Now plans an overcoming of the odds
The question is, are you in?
To Be Continued in a short story…
