Ruki struggled the second Takato and Jen got their hands on her, practically dragging her to a building. Renamon was nowhere to be found, and Ruki suspected by the lack of the giant dinosaur and dogbunny, they were keeping her from helping.

The trio soon got to a building that was literally overflowing with people of many ages. They had to find a short-ish line before getting their tickets and were soon escorted to a large conference room. On the front chalkboard, there were many stick figures drawn with sparkles and hearts and all the stick figures had their hands touching.

Ruki suddenly had a very bad feeling welling up in the pit of her stomach. Before she could demand what was going on, the door opened and an older man walked in, holding up a hand to silence the room.

He stood behind the podium, a small smile on his face, "Hello everyone. My name is Ishida Yamato, and welcome to the Annual Friendship Conference. At this seminar, you will learn the easy way of accepting your comrades as friends and how it's not always a bad thing."

Ruki's left eye twitched, but Jen kept a firm grip on her wrist. "It's for your own good, Ruki."

She growled, "Look here, Lord Sassypants, I don't need this. You're all going to get kicked in the balls after this is over."

Jen nodded, "A price for friendship."
