Prologue
Hello to however might be reading this. How's it going? This story was started from a rather unhealthy obsession with Lord of The Rings. Seriously, it's very unhealthy.
It is about Sam and Gollum who are my two favourite characters. Sam was the best hobbit, way better than he ever gets credit for, so he is by far the BEST character and Gollum I could watch talking to himself for hours. He was the most interesting character. Now you are probably bored with listening to me and want to read the story.
Ok, this story is set 15 years after the actual Lord of the Rings story finished. Sam is leading a rather charmed life after Frodo left and has been elected Mayor of the Shire, for the second time, that year….
It was a dark night in the Shire. There were many clouds overcasting the full moon but even with that handicap you could tell there was mischief brewing in Hobbiton.
The moon finally unveiled herself, letting her light shine on the hobbit holes, where all the hobbits were sleeping. Well, maybe not all.
The light of the moon caught and shone the brighter on a patch of gold hair. The figure ran quickly to the shadows of the trees. It then darted to the shelter of the hobbit holes, making sure not to be seen by any who were awake.
The figure momentarily let itself be seen by the moon. It had a face that was well known in this small town. It was a hobbit, a 13 year old girl hobbit to be exact. There are many strange things about this girl who was slinking about to Farmer Maggots farm. She had straight gold hair, very unusual for any hobbit but there had been a small increase in numbers of hobbits with gold hair, though mostly they had curly hair, as traditional hobbits do. This particular hobbit child also possesed a gleam of adult knowledge in her crafty eyes, which often enough freaked out many people around her.
For you see, the strangest thing about this girl was that she had lived another life before. She was Gollum reincarnated, though she didn't know it.
No this girl had no idea why she acted the way she did, or how she came to be that way. She was crafty, cunning and only scared of one man.
She stepped back now, a small smile on her lips as she looked at her handiwork, when she bumped straight into him, this one man she was scared of.
"Hello Elanor." Samwise Gamgee said dryly, almost exasperatedly.
She whirled around to face him. He'd been waiting awhile, his hands on his hips, tapping a sword at his belt with one fingernail.
She gulped.
"Hello Father."
