Author's Note: 170 words. Came out a little different than I was intending when I originally picked up the prompt word "Cheater" over on Writer's Intuition.
"Cheater!" One threw his cards down in irritation.
"I've told you a thousand times already, I'm not cheating." A tone of exasperation, a mischievous grin threatening to break through an innocent face.
A roll of eyes, red hair shifting. "How can you cheat in that game? Even if you could, Clint doesn't cheat, though it may seem like he does."
An angry glare. "Cheater cheater pumpkin eater."
"You're resorting to name-calling Tony? And using one so old even I get it?"
"I do not understand. What is a pumpkin?"
A sigh from the other side of the room, hand reaching under reading glasses in resignment. "It's a vegetable. Bright orange, can grow quite large in the right circumstances. Used in various ways during autumn holidays."
An idea lighting up a face. Hand pulling out phone. "Halloween's only two months away. We should have an evening where we carve jack'o'lanterns. Teach Point Break over there. We could get him to scoop out all the insides…"
Four voices raised in alarm. "NO!"
